Clients, links and accounts
Clients
Section titled “Clients”Clients lists the people you collect content from, with every project you’ve made for each. A client page shows their details, whether they have a client account, and their portfolio of projects.
Client links (no account)
Section titled “Client links (no account)”From a project’s Overview, create a client link. You can copy it or have DUSK Handoff email it.
- A link works for 7, 14, 30 or 60 days, and you can revoke it at any time.
- You can require an email code: the client then enters a 6-digit code sent to them. It expires after 10 minutes and allows 5 attempts.
- The link opens only that project’s content request.
Client accounts
Section titled “Client accounts”Invite a client from their client page. They get an email and create an account with a passkey or a password. Client accounts use two-step sign-in, by passkey or an authenticator app.
With an account, clients can also see their projects and progress, review previews, answer file requests and tasks, sign off, and message you.
An invitation works for 14 days. You can remove a client’s access at any time; their links keep working until they expire or are revoked.
