Projects and templates
Templates
Section titled “Templates”A template defines the pages, sections and fields a client fills in. DUSK Handoff provides a standard five-page website template. To change one, open it under Settings, Project templates and choose Duplicate. Your copy belongs to your organisation.
A project keeps the template version it was created with, so changing a template never changes a live project. A second project can reuse the same template.
Creating a project
Section titled “Creating a project”On Projects, choose New project:
- Type: a client project, an internal project or other. Client projects are linked to a client from Clients.
- Name and an optional client reference, such as a job number.
- Template.
- Content due: optional.
On the project’s Overview you can then choose which fields are required. Required fields decide whether an approved version is complete.
Project tabs
Section titled “Project tabs”Every project has the same tabs: Overview, Rounds, Milestones, Content review, Versions and Activity.
Archiving
Section titled “Archiving”Archiving hides a project from the list. Nothing is deleted straight away. Archived projects are deleted after your retention period (see Privacy and data).
