Revision rounds and previews

A project moves through numbered revision rounds. Only one round is active at a time. Open them on the project’s Rounds tab.

  • Publish a preview: paste the https address of your deployed preview, a label and instructions for the client. DUSK Handoff never hosts or builds previews. A newer preview replaces the last one.
  • Add tasks and file requests, for the client or your team, with an optional due date.
  • Ask for review once there’s a preview. The client is notified.

While a round is in review, the client:

  1. Approves the preview or requests changes, with a note.
  2. Confirms the content: the project’s current approved version.

Both decisions are permanent and recorded. When both are approved, the round is signed off. If you approve a new content version afterwards, the round shows “Content changed since sign-off” until the client confirms it.

Closing a round cancels its open requests. The next round can open as soon as the last one is signed off or closed.

Projects and the Overview show who each project is waiting on: the client, you, or nobody.
